Nicolas »
Thanks for you report!

Please try to do the following:
- set all permissions in Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications to allow
- go outdoors and wait few minutes (5-10 minutes) while GPS fix satellites
- you can also try to use "Reset GPS" function from main menu of GPSed application

I just installed GPSed v. 1.01 into my bb 8110 with internal gps device. It worked just once caching 8 satellites while i was at the window of my office and everything was fine, it just lost satellites when i walked into the office again, as must be. I started the program again while walking in the street to track my way back home and since then it's not working anymore, it's looking for satellites all the time "GPS connecting". I turned off the internal gps device and restarted the application, and it stand by searching for a gps, than i restarted the gps and again it's still waiting for satellites, so i guess the software and gps device are communicating right. I removed gpsed and installed it again but it's still in "GPS connecting" status. Any solutions??

I used GPSed v.0.999 (beta), v.1.0 and v.1.01 to record, on my Blackberry 8800 my full trip in Turkey.
I took tracks on 22days, 12 hours per day and the software works quite well.
I just had problems uploading some of the files made with the Beta version and here the Shape Sevices support was superb: they gave a big help repairing my broken files...
... thanks Valery!

Hi!
I use GPSed with my Blackberry 8800 and it's great!
I use it most times for sport.

Actually there is one feature i miss. It would be great if a track pauses automatically if I don't move anymore.
Everytime i make a break, I have to stop the track by myself.

Thanks for your feedback! I think your idea sounds interesting and we consider adding such feature to our TODO list

Valery, I was thinking of something pretty simple, like your mobile gpsed app updating fireeagle with the position. I like using gpsed app for the tracks, but I also like having other apps access to my location info via fireeagle, which is currently difficult to do (have to switch apps).
