GPSed mobile application for <a href="http://blog.gpsed.com/new-releases/long-awaited-gpsed-for-blackberry-storm-released-get-new-version-121" rel="nofollow">BlackBerry Storm appeared</a>!

Now there are two versions of GPSed for BlackBerry available: standard version (for 4.2., 4.3., 4.5., 4.6 OS) and special version for Storm (4.7 OS).
All features that you have already got accustomed to use in GPSed for other BlackBerry devices you will find in a Storm version.

You can open "TrackList" screen, find appropriate GPSed track and select "Convert to GPX format" menu item.

Can I export from .gpsed extension to .gpx in the 1.2 version for Blackberry? I have a blackberry 9000 bold, but I can't find where to export. I don't have the pro version.. at least not yet...

Overall, pretty cool program. Some suggestions:

- Have a simple tracking mode where if I just turn the thing on, it starts streaming my location to Google Earth as an icon, maybe with a minute or so of track history w/o requiring the user having to enter title, description, connect preferences etc. In other words, in this mode, I'm not storing saved tracks or geo-tagging photos, I'm just publishing my location to the world. The example use case is that I want to get in the car and not think about starting or configuring the app, or even creating a new track, it just starts posting.

- Have GPSed handle disconnects more gracefully. If a network disconnect occurs, once it reconnects it immediately updates the online track with the latest position info but in the background begins back filling track history that what was missed. As opposed to just defaulting back to file mode and giving up after two connection issues.

- In the track file list page, have an icon to represent the state for when the track is auto uploading to GPSed.com in real time. Or maybe have a heartbeat indicator every time it auto publishes.

Is there a preferred connection method for the Sprint BB 8830s? While I'm able to record and later upload a track via PC, I have yet to get real-time tracking to work more then a couple of seconds. I noticed that the instructions say after two failed connection errors occur the software defaults back to writing to file. It would seem to make more sense to me that it would instead simply continue on once the connection is re-established? This maybe my problem since I live in a hilly area with spotty data connectivity (particularly when I'm driving).

I've noticed other odd technical bugs too. Such as scrolling back to my list of track files and seeing a message that says "no tracks" (or something like that). But if I reboot the phone, they re-appear.

My GPSed installed on BB 8330 is an alltel phone.
From what I understand it is not locked. It worked the first time I used it after I installed it but never worked again. I have never been able to get my license key to work. They keep saying to send them a log from the support option. I dont' see a support option. Does anyone else see a way to send a log file?
