December 11th, 2009 by vitaly

We are glad to announce releasing of a lite version of GPSed for iPhone. It has almost all functionality as full version but is ad-supported:

  • Record tracks of your trips anywhere on the Earth. Tracks are traced on Google Maps (or Google Earth) and stored in an online archive
  • Attach photos to tracks on the map right from iPhone
  • Add waypoints for your favorite locations
  • Share your tracks and photos with friends to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Blogger
  • Use it as an advanced trip computer

A new lite version of GPSed for iPhone is available in App Store.
Download it absolutely for free and try all these exciting features!

With kind regards,

I just tried this app and it works great, however the speed does not register properly. It displays 25km/h while im doing 80. The speed works fine in other gps apps.

Also I would like an accuracy selector to be implemented. For example, only use gps data that has under a 100m accuracy.

Thanks

I know you probably get this question a lot. I just recently moved from a Motorola Q9C to a Moto Droid. Of all the apps I miss the most from WinMo, I miss GPSed!

None of the Android apps out there have the same functionality that GPSed has! :)

So please, I’d love to see GPSed on Android!
