Mobile GPS Tracking Service

November 19th, 2009 by odonata

As you are probably already aware, GPSed versions for iPhone and Blackberry are remarkable by many useful and nice features which we usually describe in our blog.

We are glad to bring you some new features recently added to GPSed version for Windows Mobile phones (Pocket PC and Smartphones).

 New features include:

  • Google Maps as a Track Preview mode background during track recording (PRO version only).
  • Recordered track preview with Google Maps (List of Tracks->Menu->Track Preview) (PRO version only).
  • Unattended mode (save the battery life). This mode is specific to Pocket PCs. The screen, backlight, and the audio are all turned off, but the programs on the device are running.

Get GPSed Pro version for your Windows Mobile Phones and try real Pro features!

Upgrade to Pro for PocketPC Upgrade to Pro for Smartphone

Nice new release for WM but the QVGA Screen layout is still wrong. Haven’t fixed it like promised :(

Jez Says:

The interface for the WinMo version looks great - could the BlackBerry version get a makeover?

with my sony xperia x1 there is the panel funktion. i think htc has similar functions. it would be nice to have the option to “minimize” the programm like when you close the opera browser. so gpsed can be active completely in the background and the user is able to use all functions of his phone. thanks whyatt

whyatt Says:

please forget my last post. you can use it in the background by just pressing the panel button again. (minimize would be nice but it works fine enough without)

BUT I CAN NOT USE PRIVATE TRACKS!!!
before tracking you can choose between private or public track - it is always public whether you choose the one or the other.

thanks

We just tried with private tracks, works for us.
Please contact our support (support@gpsed.com) if you still have some troubles. Thanks.
