It is sort of annoying that you will charge $2 for the iPhone version and almost $10 for the Blackberry version. Why such a disparity when clearly one program is not 500% better than the other.

but when i drive 100 km/h he still gives a result between 10 and 20 km/h. and my max speed is not higher then 28 km/h. I setup the settings and selected metric. i know the results are not precise. but a difference from 80 km/h is very out of range i think?

Hi Wayne,
Normally GPS never gives very precise speed results. In our program we have a special algorithms which make track irregularities smoother. This could make influence on a speed accuracy. Generally other programs also do not show very accurate speed characteristics as the speed is usually not so precise for GPS devices.

He displays the speed until 10 km/h but not higher and hangs. when i stop on the road i drive still 7 or 8 km/h .. when i try another program the speed dispays good. what is the problem?? Tried with version 1.6 and 1.8

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we are considering to add such feature to next releases of GPSed for iPhone.

I think that the GPSed app is a great idea, but the fact that the tracking stops as soon as the phone locks the screen makes it completely useless. My phon auto locks the screen after 5 minutes (this is controlled by Exchange thorugh the ActiveSync so i can´t turn that of). Some apps work around this by locking the screen themselves, have you considered this for GPSed?
