if you run another app that also uses the gps like google maps the device wont power down, just set both apps to use the same gps port and they'll share the data, this also works good with wififofum but wifi fo fum uses alot of resources so google maps should o the trick nicely.

My problem is the same as Pete's. Also HTC Touch Diamond. Not sure what happened in the car but it definately doesn't keep it alive when on battery and I have to change PM settings (when I'm in car I have the power in and the phone doesn't go to sleep due to my PM settings).

We have just released a small update: GPSed for Windows Mobile v. 2.1.4

In this updated problem with "automatic power down" was fixed. You can find instructions how to configure Internal GPS in blog post above.

I am using GPSed 2.1.3 on a HTC Diamond. I find that it works great. The only problem i have is that even though i have ticked the box to "prevent automatic power down" it still powers down. I currently have to disable the power down in the power options.

I have confirmed that I am running 2.1.3, and it does not try to use the internal GPS. Any suggestions?

I installed this on a Blackjack II with WM 6.1, but it cannot find the internal GPS. How can I make the app use the internal GPS? The settings don't even allow me to choose a COM port... should the app be using the Windows Intermediate GPS driver instead?

Great, looks much better. I also have diamond and worked OK on 1 track, another track seems to have failed to track for most of the journey until I received a call and then it lost the GPS at the end of call. I know the GPS was working during this journey because I kept an eye on the speed etc.

Confirmed - a new version of GPSed for Windows Mobile wasn't available for download, until now. It was our fault, I'm sorry for such unpleasant mistake.
