Lauri »
This problem was fixed in latest version 1.6 of GPSed, which is already sent to AppStore and should be available to download in a few weeks.

Great app!

My GPSed wont share to facebook even though I configured it so. The app reports it sent the track but I can't see it in my profile.

I use your software to track my running sessions, it really works well! Congratulations!

I'm writing just for a suggestion, is it possible to show the speed in Min./Km (minutes and seconds per kilometer), it could be really usefull for runners.

Thank-you in advance.

GPSed for iPhone v 1.5:
When biking or running: the 'moving time' shows as 'stopped time' and vice-versa. When driving no problem.

I upgraded GPSed as soon as the update was available and then took it out on the trail to try it out. I realy like the ability to save multiple tracks.

I did encounter a big problem with the software though. Two weeks ago I went to hike Gray's Peak in Colorado. The trailhead is out in the middle of the woods without cell phone reception. I started GPSed and it got a strong GPS signal and I started a new track. The problem is, it never started caching the track. I couldn't add waypoints or pictures. I didn't think much of it, left the app running and started the hike. The track never uploaded when I did get back to the land of technology and said that there were 0 points stored.

Also, the speed doesn't seem to work. The hike is about 4 miles. I did the first 2 miles in about an hour and the second 2 in about 2 hours. It took about 1.5 hours to get down. GPSed said my max speed was 35mph at the end of the hike! The average speed, moving time, and odometer where all showing 0.

Eric Jones »
GPS positions can't be acquired while GPSed program turned off. But when you launch GPSed again, it will continue your last track from your current location and you can share your current location to GPSed web site and/or Facebook/Twitter.

Next month I will be riding Route 66 on my motorcycle from Chicago to Santa Monica. I would like to have GPSed report my position when I stop so that my "fans" can follow me. My concern is that in order for the battery on my iPhone to last all day, I will have to turn off the phone in between uploads. Will the program acquire the new position, and upload it to the web and will it send an update to Facebook when it does?

If there was a manual I could download I wouldn't have to ask these silly questions.
