Here we would like to describe a new update of GPSed website. Last time the users profile page http://gpsed.com/user/<username> have been improved greatly. As it was before, it is still possible to detect the latest user’s position on the map.

However the user’s profile page have many new features now!

Entering users profile page you will find the account registration date and the date of last visit on GPSed. You will easily see the amount of featured tracks by this user and obtain information on how many photos were geotagged to the user’s public tracks, how many public tracks were uploaded by him or her on GPSed. And finally, you will find information on how many comments were left.

Find last 8 photos (from public tracks only) by selected user in his or her profile page.

This is not only a list of visited countries.  Our service calculates the percent of visited countries of the world!

The five nearest users could be easily detected and you will know the distance between you and them. The  “Nearby GPSed Users” are searched within a radius of 200 km.

There are also some small usability improvements:  position refresh rate, the possibility to follow user, etc. The small overview map will help to determine the part of the world where user is located quickly and easily.

Visit your favourite authors profile pages on GPSed! If you still don’t have your favorite authors we can recommend you Alex, DoLphin, Hitman and Vizael.
