GPSed.com proudly presents new GPSed track in Historic series and the first GPS presentation of “Sully´s flight” (US Airways Flight 1549) and heroic landing in the Hudson River.

We have restored on a map the heroic landing of Airbus A320 in the Hudson River that took place January 15, 2009. This event came to the history of civil aviation thanks to the captain of Flight 1549 Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger. Without thrust from both engines lamed by geese he softly landed plane on water and saved lives of 155 passengers.

Together with the track you will find  geotagged photos, waypoints during this short flight and embedded 3D animation video with real pilot’s speech during in-flight accident.
